Spiritual Direction Provider 

Summary: 

The Well International, a Christian counseling center located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is seeking an individual to fill the role of Spiritual Direction Provider in the Chiang Mai, Thailand offices of The Well. The Spiritual Direction Provider will promote preventative member care through offering spiritual direction, pastoral care and implementation of spiritual formation events for Christian global workers and their families as well as for member care providers. This is a volunteer position.

Individuals who should apply for this position are those with cross-cultural team work experience, who enjoy working with people, are flexible and self-starting, agree with the vision and mission of The Well International, and possess the qualifications below.

Responsibilities:

  1. Participate as a member of the pastoral care team

  2. Provide spiritual nurture for The Well staff

  3. Meet with clients one on one for spiritual direction or for pastoral care

Qualifications:

  1. Have received at least a certificate in Spiritual Formation or Spiritual Direction

  2. Have lived cross-culturally for 2 - 3 years

  3. Have at least 2 - 3 years experience in member care
