Sørin Joensen

Sørin is a native of the Faroe Islands (located between Iceland, Scotland, and Norway), but has lived abroad since 2000. Sørin first became interested in cross-cultural work in his late teen years, and the Joensen’s have been living in Thailand since 2004. He and his wife, Corine, have three sons, two of whom were born in Thailand. His passion is to support people struggling with life transitions or cross-cultural adjustments. His life motto has been taken from C.T. Studd’s words: “Only one life, it will soon be past. Only what is done for Christ will last!”
Sorin earned a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Ministries at New Tribes Bible Institute and a Masters in Counselling from Liberty University. Since 2004, Sorin boasts of ministry experience with organizations such as New Tribes Mission, R.E.A.D. Foundation and The Well International. He is passionate about member care and looks forward to serving you.
